Dr. Mark Dobrow

Mark Dobrow, PhD, is Scientist and Lead of the Cancer Services & Policy Research Unit at Cancer Care Ontario and Assistant Professor in the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.  Dr. Dobrow is an Editor for the journal Healthcare Policy and is co-program lead of the Health Services, Systems and Policy Program of the recently established Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control (ARCC).  In 2008-09, Dr Dobrow was awarded a Canadian Harkness Fellowship in The Commonwealth Fund’s International Program in Health Policy and Practice. Dr. Dobrow’s areas of research interest focus on the use of scientific and context-specific evidence, performance management systems and clinical/corporate accountability mechanisms to guide decision-making by organizations that manage, organize, finance and/or deliver cancer services.
