Audrey Laporte
Dr. Laporte is an Associate Professor of Health Economics in the IHPME at the University of Toronto. She also holds an appointment at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences at Sunnybrook and is an Affiliated Scientist, Nicholas C. Petris Center on Health Care Markets & Consumer Welfare, School of Public Health, UC Berkeley.
Her research areas include human health resources, and in particular modeling labour markets for nurses. Dr. Laporte's work has emphasized the application of labour economic frameworks and statistical methods to understanding the determinants of nursing labour supply decisions and choice of work setting. Dr. Laporte is co-chair of the Health Human Resources theme of the CIHR Team Grant.
